Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 10, 2026

Leona does not collect, store, or share any personal data on external servers. All your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.

1. Overview

Leona ("the App") is a baby tracking application developed by Gerald Chahine. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

2. Data Collection

Leona does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into Leona (baby profiles, activities, growth records, health records) is stored:

We have no access to your iCloud data. This data is protected by Apple's security and encryption standards.

4. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synchronized across your devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can share data with a partner using iCloud sharing. Only people you explicitly invite will have access to your shared data.

5. Camera and Photo Library

Leona may request access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to add profile photos for your baby. These photos are stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account if sync is enabled. They are never transmitted to us or any third party.

6. Notifications

Leona may send local notifications (feeding reminders, sleep alerts) if you grant permission. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.

7. Third-Party Services

Leona does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud/CloudKit, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

8. Children's Privacy

While Leona is designed to help parents track their baby's activities, it is intended for use by adults (parents and caregivers). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through the Settings screen in the App. You can also delete the App, which will remove all locally stored data. To remove iCloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
